Happy Holidays — Fun Trip to Grandma’s!

That’s right friends, I recently got back from a holiday trip to Grandma’s. It’s true also that I got to open a stocking and gifts under the tree. However, this year I’m thinking of trying to celebrate African heritage through Kwanzaa! Well, maybe I just don’t want the holidays to end because I keep getting presents and having fun with my family.

The holidays were extended this time, or at least our time at Grandma’s due to car trouble but alas papa fixed the car after waiting for the auto parts stores to open again. The cheap fix was a holiday gift he said.

Most importantly, and perhaps a Kwanzaa miracle, this morning Mommy found many pounds of free meat available in our town! We picked of boxes of free raw meat for me to eat including duck, goat, and more! I’m so excited. Can the holidays never end?

Here are some pics from my trip!

A whole frozen Rabbit… It’s whats for dinner!

Yesterday, Mommy fed me a whole frozen rabbit that we got from Mega Foods. Mommy finds lots of inexpensive raw meat for me to eat at Mega Foods and its open all night long for my late night munchies. Yes!

I can now tell you all the truth about frozen rabbit eaten outside on a hot day… It’s to die for. Well, maybe for the rabbit. Dang, he was tasty.  It took me hours to finish him off. Oh boy, it was tasty. Here are some pictures of my #raw feeding. I’m so healthy because of it! Thanks, Mommy!

Dozer (dog friendly) Date Ideas SE Portland, OR Edition — Zach’s Shack & Mt. Tabor

Budget dog-friendly Date Ideas by @BulldozerThePug

My mommy and Daddy are in love. They are in love with me, mostly, I think. But, they also seem fond of each other. I think that is why they are always going on these “date” things. And sometimes, I get to come along. Mommy and Daddy aren’t quite rich yet, so they always seem to pick cheaper/budget options for their dates.

This time we went to Zach’s Shack and later Mt. Tabor in Portland for our three-way date. It was a blast. Daddy, splurged on a topping filled veggie dog and Mommy got one too. Yes, Daddy also had a beer or two and I’m pretty sure they left paying less than $20.

Then we went to Mt. Tabor! This place is a doggie paradise. There were lots of four-legged friends and the sun was shining, although there were plenty of trees to pee on and provide shade. Oh boy, did we ever have fun.  It was such a blast. I just wish I could swim in the reservoirs. Maybe next time!

Stay tuned to my website for more budget dog-friendly date ideas. My Mommy and Daddy seem to have that figured out.

Eating a RAW FISH! Eye-balls and ALL!

The other day we went camping and Mommy fed me a raw fish for dinner. Oh my goodness, it was so tasty. I’ve noticed some humans look at raw fish weird and don’t really consider eating the entire thing, eyes, bones, scales, and all but I just love crunching down on all the juicy (and sometimes bloody) deliciousness.

Although we did go fishing on our camping trip, Mommy didn’t feed me our catch from that particular weekend’s expedition because those fish might still have some parasites in them. That’s why she always freezes fish we catch for at least three weeks before I eat them. So, yeah, a little freezer burn can happen, but it still tastes so good. In fact, I can’t even describe how much better it tastes than that yucky kibble I used to eat.
